Advocacy & policy

Advocacy to accelerate health impact

Strong political champions and evidence-based policies are critical to ensure that health is within reach for everyone. It’s not enough to create solutions to global health problems. The global health community must secure the support of decision-makers, policymakers, and others to commit resources and enact policies that bring these solutions to scale—to strengthen health systems, improve health, and save lives.

Inform policy making

St. Mary’s ADI Community Health Center leverages our technical expertise and influential partnerships ministry of health to advocate for policy decisions with maximum health impact. We ensure that policymakers, advocates, and citizens have the right support and information to make evidence-based decisions for better health.

Accelerate health innovation to save lives…faster

As the leader in health innovation, we work with partners to inform policies that accelerate the development of lifesaving vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, devices, and system and service innovations. We identify barriers to product development and the policy opportunities and actions to overcome them.

Improve health for women, newborns, and children

St. Mary’s ADI Community Health Center advocates for maternal and child health, malaria, and immunization policies and resources that improve the health of the world’s most vulnerable women and children.

Strengthen advocacy capacity

St. Mary’s ADI Community Health Center has a tested approach and suite of tools and services to strengthen the advocacy capacity of local organizations and build champions for health. Our stories from the field show our impact. Our staff in communities provide advice and training to policy influence’s, and we work with the governments  to help health advocates develop strategies to influence policies or create coalitions that drive progress on health.
